There’s more options if you’d rather drive.A ten minute drive to the east will bring you to the villages of “Afissos” and “Kala Nera”. There you will find a broad choice of taverns, restaurants and even outdoor/indoor night clubs at different locales varying from hills with gorgeous night views of the sea and reflecting moon or right on the sandy shore by the splashing waves.
The mountain villages of Milies, which houses the Little Train of Pelion final station, Vyzitsa, with the collection of old Pelion houses and Pinakates as well as the sea side villages of Milina and Lefokastro all have something to show you.
If you're lucky and you're visiting at a time when there's a wine festival on at the villages of Agios Vlassis or Agios Georgios you shouldn't miss it nor should you miss a music festival at Chorto!
