Weather you can plan with!

The climate in Pelion is generally mild and typicaly mediterranean. Weather conditions are normal with regards to the time of year and hardly ever get extreme. In East Pelion there are more showers and fog while in West Pelion the weather is milder and more dry.

Between December and March there are frequent snow falls which result in the higher areas of Pelion to be covered in snow throughout most of the Winter and early Spring months. It is not rare that even sea altitude parts like Volos will be covered in snow for a little time! Some of our long time recurring visitors tell us that April and May are their favourite months to visit us here in Pelion. Why? Because in those months sometimes when the last snow is still melting and the water is warm enough to swim in, Pelion is the only place in Greece that provides them with the opportunity to go mountain skiing and swimming in the sea in the very same day!
